You have a choice

Someday you will die.
Your body will rot away.
The things you own will scatter to the wind.
The only thing left of you will be your deeds.

Do you want your legacy to be:
Going along with things you know are wrong? or...
Making your ideals into reality?

This is the choice you face...

(Choose wisely)

  1. I like this post.

I think it applies to everything you do. Every time you say that you hate something about your life or the world, you have to realize that there is a choice. You either sit back and take it, or you do something about it.

  2. Absolutely. It's a little grim, but I think it's also empowering.

  3. I’ve read that people used to keep morbid objects, like skulls, on their desk and in their homes to remind them of their mortality.

  4. Nothing to nip procrastination in the bud like the looming sense of your own mortality.
