    A "fair" tax, you mean a flat tax, which overly burdens poor people?

    A fair tax is a progressive taxation system. It costs more to be poor than to be middle income.

    no, the fair tax isn't flat, it has a prebate to cover basic sustenance. it's not progressive but it's not nearly as regressive as what we have.
