  1. I will debate the issue of a musket. I've shot black powder all my life and can hit targets at 150 yards regularly. Revolutionary war standing armies like the British and Germans could reasonably shoot out to 200 yards though their tactics dictated hand to hand engagements over ranged warfare as the primary means of killing your enemy.

    Militias composed of your average farmer would be more realisticly able to fall into the 60-100 yard range quoted. That is due to variance in weapons and training.
